The purpose of our monthly lunches is to raise money for our “Conference apportionments” while at the same time fostering fun and fellowship. The United Methodist Men will serve the fun-raising luncheon on Sunday, February 14th. The menu is barbequed chicken, baked Idaho potato, buttered English peas, hot rolls, tea and coffee with cherry delight for dessert. The suggested donation is $10 but all additional donations are gratefully accepted.
This Wednesday Night Supper (Sept. 8th) is a special “Farewell Fellowship” for Dr. Moore as he begins his time of leave. The menu will be a chicken casserole, potato casserole, lima beans and a delicious desert. If anyone doesn’t like to drive at night and needs transportation to the event, please call the church office. The suggested donation for dinner is $5 per adult, $3 per student, with a total family cost of $13. Dinner begins at 5:15. Please reserve your place at the table by signing up on the pew pad or bulletin insert, or by phoning the office 943-4393 before Monday noon. We expect a large crowd and need to plan our food preparation accordingly.
